CLE CREDIT FOR US LAWYERS
CONTINUING LEGAL EDUCATION CREDITS FOR AMERICAN LAWYERS
The Maritime Law Association of the United States (“MLAUS”), an accredited New York provider of continuing legal education (“CLE”), has agreed to act as a co-sponsor of the conference for purposes of CLE. The MLAUS will issue both transitional and non-transitional CLE credit for attendance at an approved program session. Attorneys admitted in jurisdictions other than New York should consult with the appropriate local CLE authorities to determine their entitlement to CLE credits based on the MLAUS New York CLE certification.
CLE financial aid assistance is available to MLAUS members, and also to New York lawyers, whose annual incomes fall below US$50,000. Financial aid is, however, not available for expenses which cover transportation, meals, drinks or accommodations. Applications for financial aid should be submitted to the Chair of the MLAUS CLE Committee, Brian Eisenhower, by email to beisenhower@hillrivkins.com promptly and not later than March 5, 2020.
