NORONHA

Fernando de Noronha lies in the Atlantic Ocean approximately 220 miles off the Brazilian coast. This archipelago consists of 21 islands, including one main island that is 7 sq. miles, with a population of just over 3,000.  Fernando de Noronha has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Since the islands are so small and fragile a maximum of only 460 tourists are allowed at a time. There is also an Environmental Preservation Tax that is more expensive the longer you stay.

BONITO

Bonito, in Mato Grosso do Sul, is one of the main ecotourism and adventure tourism destinations in Brazil. The place is worth its name. It is a true heaven, with clear-water rivers and colorful fishes contrasting against the deep greens of the native vegetation. Located in the Bodoquena Hill, the city is 300 km away from the state capital, Campo Grande, and has good access roads.
